Music Video Evaluation

Tion Wayne Ft Afro B - Bae Evaluation
The main purpose for our music video was to entertain the youths of today, we had two couples in the video as it was made by two rappers talking about there relationships.
The target audience for our music video are for young adults and teenagers who aspire to be or live the lifestyle of the two artists, the young generation today would love to live the way he lives as he drives fancy cars and live a fancy life. On the other hand we have the females of our generation who listen to songs like this and expect most of the lyrics to become true, they want a boyfriend in their life so they can feel like they live the same live or they could relate to the song.
We had various ideas and plans for this specific video however it didn’t turned out as fully planned as time wasn’t on our side. We didn’t have long to record and also edit the footage. Our main original plan was to record many scenes in different location to make the video stand out and look very sophisticated and somehow cute. Overall our video looked very sophisticated as it was filmed in our final destination which was Canary Wharf. We filmed most of it there as it was our best location.
we done a lot of good things which I could say was our strengths, we was all well organized when doing he pre-production as everyone had one task to complete. We worked well when recording as there was no discussion or confusion in our group.
However on the other hand we did have a small weakness which was when recording our video we had a lack of footage that had us lip syncing the song so therefore we had to use other random clips to cover it up and put it in that specific place.
To be honest I think our biggest strength was editing as it was really simple to just cut and place the clips in the location matching the song, we added the song to the timeline first than proceeded in with the editing as it was easier to do
We had very good audience feedback. The audience liked our idea overall some said we should have not used many transition as it was too much however mostly everyone really enjoyed it and said they love the location for this song and loved the way it was structured, meaning the way the clips were inserted. We also had feedback where people said that we should have done more clips whilst we was lip syncing the song, further more our project came out very well.

J Hus the finest known rapper in the east side of London  city was first heard by everyone when he released a #Rated from GRM Daily, A GRM Daily youll see an artist express himself into rapping. After releasing this he had finally hit his first million view. He proceeded on his career by recording numerous freestyles which exposed him even more, these two session was what aided him to proceed on further #StreetHeat and Bl@CKBOX. He then went on to releasing two official tracks that gained him more respect and attention throughout his “hood”, the two tracks had hit millions of views, “Dem Boy Paigon” was the first official one that was released without a music video, even though it had no video the song still gained attention from other local and fascinating rappers around in that specific time bound. “No Lie” is the 2nd song released and this one had a video which made it gain more exposure unlike the others which were limited to gain more attention, the song was one of the best in that time. My Article Adaptation Adult

My Article Adaptation Adult

My target audience for this article would be for young adults, and some adults who are keen in these categories of music genre in our generation today. The audience varies in age due to the type of lyrics and instrumental used. The main purpose of this article is to give the target audience a wider view of the artists they are concentrating on, knowing the artists background and how he grew up could make us gain a greater understanding of his lyrics more, instead of just listening to it and not understanding. Most of rap songs have significant meanings and some are harder to figure out, so making the audience understand the raps by giving them general information and understanding about the artist would be easier to comprehend.

This would be set on platforms such as magazines as it is able to contain a lot of exceptional information. Throughout my article they will only be valuable facts about the artist and nothing else in case the artists feels that the content is inappropriate and disrespectful. My article will be in a E newspaper as it is able to contain much more information than on another platform. This article will also contain many images to give you a better understanding of the text/caption. The simple pictures just give the consumers an improved view as reading long paragraphs of texts can be mundane. The text used is not too long to bore the reader.

However the text used is mostly influential facts about the rapper. The meaningful images used are simple and unique images that shows you how the rapper is presented, also this will include normal pictures he has taken in the past, throughout his young and growing career. On the article you will have a playlist on the side that will allow you to hear a preview or even the full song when interaction with the songs on the side has been made, some interactions will be easier than some. The pictures that will be posted will be taken at the photography studio.

Task 1D

2nd article

Second article
J Hus has come from nothing to something in the last 2 years, this is due to all of the success and exposure he is receiving from the music industry. The main reasons for his fans supporting him is due to his lyrics and slightly his flow but more to do with the lyrics and what he actually means in his bars, when you know the definition of the words being used, you then slowly get a understanding of what he is trying to show and tells us. Raps are usually like books but instead of reading in peace you get to hear it with a instrumental which some people find better than being in peace, most raps have a massive meaning or story behind what the artist is trying to show, J Hus is the type of rapper who tells you about his life story as we learn from his "daily duppy" and "street heat" he explains to us how he lived his lifestyle and how he is still living his life. Throughout his lyrics we understand and acknowledge how hard it was for him to grow up in a tough environment, he states many times in many different words how he wants to leave this gang life and move on to becoming a good person and learning about his religion. "One day I'll leave this whole life and practice Islam" from this short bar and the tone of voice used to say it, explains to us what he really meant. J Hus grew up around drugs, weapons and definitely violence, so for a person to change his life from all of that to becoming a well known artist worldwide then he has achieved a lot. Having a Muslim background did not have a massive impact of how he lived his life but it did have the slightest of ideas in his head, he always wanted to become better in many ways from living a harsh lifestyle to becoming a very calm person which is now known in a lot of places. Journalism 2 Task 1C

LEGAL, ETHICAL AND MORAL.

My article is to inform the public about this specific grime rapper which is gaining attention, this rapper has only came into the music industry in 2015 and now 2 years later he has millions of views worldwide on YouTube. He also became the first UK rapper to get more than a massive 2 million views in less than six months after releasing a music video. Thought out my article you will be seeing a lot of facts about the rapper, this is because if lies are added the friends or family or even the rapper himself might feel disrespected or feel anger towards the article as it does not contain the truth. The truth is very important in an article as it is read by a lot of people who have intentions of finding out more about this specific rapper. I am also aware that if there are lies in this article than the public reading this will feel like this is an untrusted source of information and that is it not reliable either.

An example would be stating that the rapper is from south London when he is actually from the borough of Newham. Incorrect information like this can cause a lot of confusion and frustration towards the writer of the article. Also saying stuff like he is the best from east London would also cause problems as there are hundreds of other rappers in the east side of London that are highly talented however unfortunately highly underrated. Everything in my article is related and relevant I do not intend to have irrelevant information which would confuse the public reading my article.

My article would be posted up on an E-Magazine so therefore I am aware that OFCOM and PCC have permission to remove any content which are irrelevant and disturbing to the public they also have the ability to remove any content which are inappropriate in any types of way. The public would also have options whether to report my article if anything is wrong (E.G. wrong information, rude information or even disturbing things)  however m article would be checked before released in case of an of these problems.
