Evaluation (Short Film)

Evaluation (individual work)
Our charity was chosen because as a group we decided that a massive problem in our generation is domestic violence and violence in general, so at our age these types of scenario occurs right under our noses, whether it’s our brother, sister, best friend or anyone close around us. The main reason we choose this charity is to raise awareness for people who are quite and unable to fight against situation like this. Our charity was ChildLine so domestic violence would be an important thing relating to ChildLine.

Our original ideas were more detailed and harder to film, so we decided to cut down on many scenes and re do the plans. We cut down on 4 scenes and only done 2, we had a storyline line of 4 characters unfortunately we cut 2 storylines out and only recorded the 2. Our original ideas were the same and did not change just stuck to our same storylines and only erased 2.

We planned out our film for a very long time we had so many creative ideas in our group but our ideas were too creative and we had to think about reality, as a group we were very strong and determined to get everything completed however we had some weakness when planning everything we were slightly distracted.

When we filmed the scenes we were really into it, scenes after scenes to get the best ones. Our main weakness was not distraction it was mostly that we had limited time which meant we had to be quick to film. Most of the time we had a camera ready to film and the charge would ran out, so this would impact us heavily as we had limited time.

  1. You do evaluate realistically but this is very brief and lacks any sense of how you met the brief and purpose of the exercise.
